Kristen Baggerly & Belinda
Beehive Bake Shop was born with an undeniable passion for
pastry arts, and two girl's passion to do what they love.
Kristen Baggerly has worked in many restaurants and bakeries
all over the Bay Area, but started her career in baking under the
talented pastry chef Belinda Leong at Gary Danko in 2002. It was
there that they met, and worked together for many years while
forming a close relationship that was destined to resurface.
They both parted ways, while remaining close, and continued
to further their education through other work and travels over the
years. Kristen took off on a food tour through Paris, Barcelona,
London, New Zealand, and Asia letting the culture, sights, tastes
and smells inspire her. After leaving Gary Danko, Belinda
took two years off to stage at some of the best restaurants and
patissieres in Paris, Spain, and Copenhagen before returning to the
U.S. and becoming Pastry Chef at Manresa Restaurant in Los Gatos,
CA. Their mutual respect for each other's talents crossed paths
many times to collaborate on events and consulting. Belinda's
pastry knowledge and techniques combined with Kristen's knowledge
and creative eye have now become BeeHive Bake Shop, where
delicious meets clean, modern, cute and fun.
